With the national restrictions continuing to play havoc with the football season, Crewe FC are set to launch online football sessions for it’s youngest members.
In addition to the various activities such as HIIT sessions and the ‘Lockdown Challenge League’ already running at the club, the new initiative provides even more opportunity for club members to stay connected during the lockdown period.
Our ‘Football Focus’ programme, high energy sessions focussing on ball mastery and fundamental movement skills will be accessible for all our junior members from ages 6-11.
The sessions will be ran by one of Crewe FC’s newest recruits, Matt Johnson, who as well as being a UEFA B licensed coach, also manages one of our youngest girls teams.
“The players will be focussing on football skills, like turning, beating the player and close control. It’ll also focus on movement skills and core development activities.
The sessions will be a great opportunity for our young players to practice their skills, but most importantly, see their teammates and get active”.
Our Football Focus sessions will run every Thursday evening via Zoom.
